Sunburn Itch Relief

There is no doubt that at some time in the past you have suffered from a sunburn itch, and it’s even more possible that you are going through it right now. Sunburns can be extremely painful, especially when they start to itch because scratching really doesn’t seem to help at all. In fact, scratching only serves to make it worse, so what you need it a solution that will fix it, and fast.

The best cure for a sunburn itch is to not get the itch in the first place. The best way to do that is to wears sun screen, but it’s quite true that we don’t all think things through before we step out the door. There are other reasons to wear sunscreen as well, the biggest one being the treat of skin cancer. The other reason to wear sunscreen and keep our skin protected is that over time the sun will cause the connective tissue in our faces to break down, causing all sorts of wrinkles that that can be a rather bad situation. But that’s enough lecturing about sunscreen because if you’re here you either forgot to use it or it was completely ineffective.

The best thing that you can do to get relief from a sunburn itch is to keep your skin moisturized. You can actually rub cocoa butter on it to make sure that your skin stays nice and moist. If you do this you should be able to get some relief from that nasty itch, though you will have to keep doing it until the itch goes away completely because this is not an instant cure.

The next thing that you can try is Aloe. Aloe comes in many different forms, the most popular being Aloe Vera . You can purchase this at your local pharmacy or a retail store that has a pharmacy built in. If you are unsure of what to purchase then you can always ask an employee at the store as they will know exactly what you need. After all, they’ve helped many people before you and have answered all of the same questions.

Try this anti-itch Sarna Original Lotion, 7.5-Ounce (222 mL) Bottle, but this product could be useful too: Gold Bond Medicated Anti-Itch Cream, 2-Ounce Tubes (Pack of 3).

If you are really unsure then it wouldn’t be a bad idea to talk to your family doctor. Your doctor will probably know your body much better than you do, and will be able to help you make decisions. It’s also a good idea to seek the help of a physician because you need to know what your body can handle before you start exposing it to random chemicals and creams. You want to make sure that you don’t use something that is going to cause your body more harm than good.

Sunburn itch can be irritating but by no means is it untreatable. Talk to your doctor and find the medicine that will work best for you. If all else fails, talk to friends and family because chances are they too have gone through this ordeal at some point or another in their lives and they will be able to help you pick the right remedies and get through it. Top.
