"Sunburn Blisters, How to Get Rid of them"

Sunburn Blisters, How to Get Rid of them

We all love to be out in the sun, at least most of us do. The problem with exposure to sunlight is that it doesn’t come without a price. If we don’t take the proper precautions, and sometimes even if we do, we’re going to come away with that dreaded sunburn. Sunburns are extremely painful and you will find that they are also very hard to get rid of. There are a number of home remedies listed that are supposed to be able to help with the problem, though they don’t always work as advertised. What you need to do is find exactly what works for you, and to do that you can select among the solutions below for getting rid of sunburn blisters.

A blister is defined as a pocket of skin that has filled with fluid, and they can range from very inconvenient or very painful. There are a number of ways to get rid of them and some people opt to pop and drain them. In the case of a normal blister this is okay, but in the case of a sunburn blister this isn’t a good practice because there is a chance that it will just make your sunburn worse. There are a few other things that you can try, and while they may not work for some people they might just work for you, all you have to do is try.

The first thing that you can try is adding baking soda to a bath and laying down in it. Baking soda has always been labeled as a cure-all substance, and as such it should really be given some attention because it would not have obtained that reputation without some sort of reason. So give that a try and see if it helps your skin at all.

Another thing that you can try is lettuce leaves. Take the leaves and strain water off of them, when you are done apply that strained water to your sunburned areas and see if you get any sort of relief.

As always, Aloe Vera is a great idea for helping skin conditions. It can be found at just about any pharmacy or retail store, and it w ill help to re-hydrate your skin. There are many different forms of Aloe Vera, and which form you use is completely up to you. So head out to your store and see exactly what you can find because the answer to your problems may very well be there.

These are only a few of the possible ways to alleviate the pain associated with sunburn blisters and if you need more then you should speak with your physician because not only will he or she know the best ways to get rid of them, they will also know what will work best for your body; after all, you are their patient!
