Sunburn Blister Care

Sunburn Blister Care

Sunburns are pretty painful, everyone knows this because just about everyone has managed to go out into the sun without any sunscreen and came back in with their faces covered in the red burns caused by the sun's ultraviolet rays. You then spend the next few days in agonizing pain while your skin peels off and you wonder why you of all people. Well it's not just you, it happens to people all around the world and they can all agree that it's painful but it gets even worse when there is a sunburn blister involved.

Though the blisters can be a little bit painful it is important that you don't actually pop them like a regular blister. Instead you can try bathing in a tepid bath of baking soda and that should alleviate the pain for quite some time.

You can also try taking a warm shower to get the heat out of your burns and move the blood flow to your affected areas so that they will heal a lot faster. Though there are a lot of people that say you can use butter to heal a sunburn you need to keep in mind that butter is an oil based product, and oil will tend to clog your pores and make it impossible for your skin to breathe. Believe me, you want you skin to breathe during this time because if it doesn't it will become infected and then you will have two major problems that may involve a visit to the doctor's office or even the emergency room.

If you feel like being artsy then you can grind some potatoes up in a blender and apply those raw mashed up potatoes to your skin and wait for it to dry. After it dries you can wash it off and repeat this daily until it actually yields some good results.

There are also numerous sunburn creams that you can purchase at different stores, all of them claim to be the best, but for sunburn blisters the best is probably the cream known as Aloe Vera. You can buy Aloe Vera at just about any store and apply it to your burns. This will provide quick relief and allow you to get on with your daily routine as quickly as possible.

Remember that if you do have a sunburn blister then you need to stay out of the sun. This should be pretty obvious since the sun caused the issue in the first place, but for those who need a second opinion or confirmation, your skin needs time to heal and you need to give it as much time as you can. So make sure that you stay inside and if it gets any worse consult your doctor immediately. Top
