Skin Burns Remedies

The very best first aid remedy that can be used for skin burns is diluted vinegar. A staple that is found in almost every household is vinegar. Cover the area that happens to be burned with a cloth that has been soaked in diluted vinegar. Vinegar promotes relaxation and painkilling. You need to change the compress for a new one if the pains from the burn begin to smart again.

Lavender essential oil is another good remedy for skin burns. Put some Lavender oil right away onto the burned area of the skin. Lavender is a very effective antiseptic, is a painkiller and promotes rapid healing. When Lavender is quickly applied to a burn, you will find that there is no scarring at all.

If you have a sunny kitchen window, then it may be a very good thing to start to grow an Aloe vera plant. For first aid to a skin burn, cut off a small part of the fleshy leaf. After opening it, then you want to apply the fresh sap directly to the burn. Aloe vera has tissue-healing and astringent properties.
